RDF19 Speaker Details
The NHS R&D Forum are delighted to announce the following speakers for RDF19, The 2019 Annual NHS R&D Forum. RDF19 will be held at the Hilton Metropole in Brighton from the 12th-14th May 2019. The Annual NHS R&D Forum is one of the largest gatherings of R&D Directors, Managers, Administrators and related functions in the UK. RDF18 saw over 600 people attend the 2 day conference with 60 speakers, over 60 posters and more than 20 exhibitors.

Phillip has a visiting professorship with the School of Health and Social Care are the University of Hertfordshire. The Trust aims to ‘enhance patient experience and outcome through research and innovation’. For more details please see our websitehttp://www.enherts-tr.nhs.uk/ Phillip has been involved with research in the NHS since 1999 and has worked for numerous NHS organisations mainly in the acute sector but also primary care, community care and mental health. During this time Phillip has supported NHS Organisations to directly develop and manage their research and has also delivered various roles to deliver National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) functions in various national as well as regional roles across the East of England and in the North Thames part of London. He currently co-chairs the NHS RD Forum National Strategy working group and also co-chairs the Hertfordshire and West Essex Health, Wellbeing and Social Care Research Strategy Group. On a more personal note Phillip has a long interest in the outdoors especially, cycling, running, walking and fishing. Phillip has held numerous voluntary roles and this has included being Chair of Governors for his local primary school for 4 years.
