RDF19 Poster Detail
Poster Title |
delivering research in under represented communities |
Abstract |
We are undertaking a project within the Eastern footprint to understand reasons why recruitment in our research active practices in the most socio-economic deprived areas recruit fewer participants. This entails working with specific practices and patients in the local communities and with academic colleagues. This project is taking place within the DHSC policy context of a drive to increase research participation in areas of ‘population need’. The poster will present the findings from this work (complete March 19) , the steps we have taken to address the issues we are facing and the challenges this presents and early impact. |
