Dr Lucy Wasinski
Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Lucy Wasinski is a Research Co-ordinator in the Clinical Research & Innovation Office at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Her role includes coordinating research communications activities, supporting the evaluation of Directorates research performance, and promoting and supporting the involvement and engagement of patients, public and Trust staff in research.
Prior to this, after completing a PhD in Exercise Physiology at Loughborough University, Lucy worked as a post-doc at the University of Manchester from 2011-2015. There she was involved in various projects in the areas of gastrointestinal, and exercise physiology working with healthy volunteers and patient groups. In 2015 Lucy moved into the NHS as a project manager in the Clinical Research Facility in South Manchester where she was involved in research governance, and was responsible for the set-up and ongoing management of commercial and non-commercial respiratory and allergy research trials.
