Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator

Dan Lawrence is a Research Co-ordinator in the Clinical Research & Innovation Office at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. His role includes coordinating research communications activities, supporting the evaluation of Directorates research performance, and promoting and supporting the involvement and engagement of patients, public and Trust staff in research.
Dan’s career with the NHS began with the Clinical Research Network in 2011, supporting the delivery of research in Primary Care. Prior to this, he was a Biomechanics Researcher at Sheffield Hallam University, focussing on the use of motion tracking technology to measure balance reactions. Dan has a keen interest in Public Health Research, and currently works one day a week with NIHR CLAHRC Yorkshire & Humber on a project evaluating the ParkRun initiative.
