The NHS R&D Forum are pleased to announce that the following speakers will be presenting sessions at the 2017 Annual NHS R&D Forum Conference in Manchester on the 15th & 16th May 2017.
Job Title: Clinical Research Director for Transform Research Alliance
Nat is currently employed by Spectrum Community Health CIC, a health-based social enterprise, as the Clinical Research Director for Transform Research Alliance. The Alliance brings together 11 social enterprises to build research capacity and capability in the member organisations. Prior to starting his current post, he held senior management positions in the NHS for approximately 15 years. He is also the Yorkshire and Humber NIHR Clinical Research Network Primary Care Specialty Lead and Co-clinical lead for Division 5. For the last 20 years, he has sat on a number of national and international committees involved in raising the quality of healthcare provision to vulnerable groups. He is currently the training lead in illicit substance misuse for the Royal College of General Practitioners. He holds honorary Associate Professor titles at Leeds and Nottingham Universities. He undertakes clinical work in both community and prison general practice. His passion is contributing to the evidence base to inform ongoing improvement in both primary care and wider health services for the benefit of vulnerable patients.
